Schedule:
Full-Time, per the school year calendar (approximately 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM )
Compensation: $35.00-$45.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Elementary School Health Office
The Acton-Boxborough School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNs) to join our school health services team for the school year. In this role, you will provide high-quality, student-centered nursing care in a collaborative and supportive environment. The LPN works closely with the building nurse(s) to support student health needs and promote a safe and healthy school community.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the building nurse(s) to provide direct care to students.
- Respond promptly and effectively to student illness, injury, and medical emergencies.
- Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with physician orders and school protocols.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential student health records.
- Support student wellness and preventive health initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Follow Massachusetts Department of Public Health guidelines and district nursing policies.
- Attend field trips as needed to support student health and safety
Preferred Experience:
Experience in school nursing and/or pediatric nursing
Minimum Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association or American Red Cross; in-person certification required)
- Successful completion of all required background checks, including CORI and fingerprinting.
