Who

You Are
  • Two or more years of specialty retail experience with emphasis on store operations and/or visual merchandising.
  • Model of professionalism with a strong work ethic, integrity, and respect for others.
  • Customer‑centric, understanding how exceptional service drives sales.
  • Educator, coach, and mentor who inspires team associates based on individual strengths.
  • Organized, strategic, able to make independent decisions, and capable of working in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
  • Clear communicator of business‑related information and brand initiatives.
  • Ambitious, enthusiastic, and friendly, able to work cooperatively in a diverse work environment.
  • Technologically adept with POS/iPad/handheld systems.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders, moving around regularly, and standing for extended periods.
  • Able to bend, reach, stretch for product, lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including opening/closing shifts, weekends, and holidays (40 hrs per week).
What You’ll Do
  • Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships internally and externally.
  • Deliver a meaningful customer service experience that promotes products and builds brand relationships.
  • Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas (clienteling/outreach, appointment setting, Talbots Classic Awards, etc.).
  • Partner with the Manager to lead the team with ownership across all areas of operations.
  • Plan, execute, and lead floor sets, window displays, interior marketing, recalls, and markdowns.
  • Educate, train, and reinforce brand standards as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Balance operational and selling energy, ensuring proper planning, scheduling, and prioritization to meet business needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of business and competitive landscape, fashion trends, and key business drivers to identify opportunities that maximize sales and achieve financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships that support a productive work environment.
