LeadMitigation Technician
– Job Summary
We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented Lead Restoration Technician. This position is for an experienced mitigation technician looking to advance in their career. The ideal candidate would have obtained IICRC certifications and a proven track record of industry success. The Lead Restoration Technician ensures that Company processes and procedures are followed and that customer satisfaction is exceeded. Being a team player with high integrity is essential.
Responsibilities- Respond immediately to scheduled and emergency service restoration projects.
- Participate in on-call schedule.
- Lead and manage a crew on demolition jobs, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with scope.
- Obtain all necessary documents (e.g., Work Authorization and Completion Form).
- Document every loss with detailed, pertinent photos.
- Document detailed job notes each time a job site is visited.
- Moisture mapping and sketching mitigation jobs.
- Track equipment used on company jobs.
- Record and document moisture points, temperature and relative humidity.
- Perform demolition as scoped, following proper containment, dust control, and safe debris removal practices.
- Assist with floor cleans as needed to support schedules and customer needs (e.g., carpet, tile/grout, and upholstery).
- Keep Work Van clean, organized, and stocked.
- Dawn and Doff PPE and clean and reorganize equipment and tools after each job.
- Maintain effective communication with customers and managers.
- Perform property inspections and complete reports.
- Maintain project files.
- Attend and assist in conducting company meetings.
- Perform minor repairs on company equipment and vehicles.
- Positive, "can-do" attitude and a strong desire to contribute to—and grow within—a great team culture.
- Education and Experience:
High school diploma (or GED) plus 1 to 5 years of experience at a restoration company. - Proficient technical skills, experience, and certification in the areas the Company provides.
- Willingness to learn the Voda way of Restoration, new programs, and documentation software.
- Effective in receiving feedback and input from customers and employees, probing for additional information or unspoken issues, and providing timely responses.
- Able to pass Background Check, Motor Vehicle Record Check and Drug Test.
