Material Handler, Forklift Operator, Distribution/ General Warehouse
- Under direct supervision, this role is responsible for the receipt and storage of incoming materials and supplies.
- The position ensures all receiving and internal movement transactions are accurately entered into the organization's ERP system, following standard operating procedures and compliance with applicable FDA and cGMP regulations.
- The role also involves managing warehouse workflow to meet operational demand at a regulated manufacturing site.
- During plant startup, the work hours will align with core business hours, with shift schedules subject to change based on business needs.

- Perform all receiving-related transactions within the ERP system (SAP) accurately.
- Coordinate the receipt of raw materials and supplies with designated carriers.
- Operate forklifts, manual pallet jacks, and powered pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Operate organizational vehicles such as box trucks between facilities.
- Complete all required quality management system (QMS) training prior to performing tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety procedures, reporting hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Support workflow execution to ensure warehouse operations meet demand.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience.
- 2-4 years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Prior forklift experience with the ability to obtain necessary certifications.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
- Proficiency in English for communication and documentation.
- Basic computer skills, including a working knowledge of ERP systems, with the ability to learn warehouse management modules.
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting loads up to 50 lbs and operating power equipment safely.
- Familiarity with ergonomic lifting techniques.
