Compensation will be in accordance with the salary scale outlined in the Acushnet Teachers Association collective bargaining agreement.

Early Childhood

• Implement the instructional program as identified through the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and district's curriculum.
• Maintain appropriate classroom environment with relation to discipline and student safety.
• Communicate with parents and/or guardians.
• Work collaboratively with administration and support staff to ensure student success.
• Prepare required plans and reports, including, but not limited to, progress reports, individualized education plans, and report cards.
• Conduct testing as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, including student grades and classroom attendance.
• Participate in team meetings as necessary.
• Maintain high academic standards.
• Pursue professional development as necessary and appropriate.
• Participate in committees and activities as appropriate and in conjunction with contractual agreements.
• Work collaboratively with staff to plan curriculum and instruction.
• Promote equity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• DESE Certified
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
