To support our operations, we are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our dynamic and growing team.

As a Junior Accountant at our client, you will play a vital role in our accounting department. You will be responsible for general ledger maintenance and assisting in various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with Quick Books and possess a strong attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is eager to grow their accounting career within the manufacturing industry.

• Assist in maintaining the general ledger and prepare journal entries as needed.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Review and analyze accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial information.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules and providing necessary documentation for external audits.
• Help with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on general ledger maintenance.
• Proficiency in Quick Books is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
