Mortgage Loan Processor

Responsibilities will include thoroughly compiling information, responding to questions from applicants and underwriters, and resolving last‑minute issues so mortgage applications are filed in a timely manner.

• Follow up on loan documentation ordered in a timely manner to ensure closing dates and company deadlines are met
• Oversee all loans coming through the pipeline to ensure the process is compliant and efficient
• Serve as a liaison between loan officers, applicants, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval
• Take care of all borrower communication, from loan origination to close
• Give detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department and obtain approval or denial. When issues arise, communicate with underwriters and borrowers to make sure conditions are satisfied
• Own the file from contract to closing with accuracy, speed, and a service‑first mindset
• Serve as the main point of contact for borrowers, Realtors, LO, and underwriters
• Manage a pipeline efficiently while meeting closing dates and compliance requirements
• Analyze and verify all income, assets, credit, insurance, VOEs, payoffs, tax transcripts, title, condos, and supporting documentation
• Update and maintain full transparency through the LOS
• Troubleshoot issues proactively and remove roadblocks before they become delays
• Ensure outstanding communication and a calm, positive borrower experience
• Work collaboratively with our team to deliver smooth, clean files with minimal conditions

• Solid understanding of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) and knowledge of mortgage procedures, processes, and documentation
• Capable of accurately analyzing credit reports, income, and asset documents, and the various ways to assemble a loan
• Has worked in a lender’s environment and has experience using Encompass LOS software
• Exceptional attention to detail, and must be organized and have excellent time‑management skills
• Prior experience as Processor, LOA, Loan Partner, Loan Officer, and/or Underwriter
• 5+ years of mortgage processing experience
• Deep understanding of lender model operations
• Strong working knowledge of loan structuring, AUS, credit, income, and assets
• Experience as a Senior Processor, LOA, Loan Partner, or Underwriter required
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and multitask without sacrificing accuracy
• Calm, steady professional presence even during high‑volume cycles
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Proficient with Calyx Point or similar LOS software

$60,000 yearly base DOE + bonus & incentives
