Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Acworth, GA is looking to hire a full-time Materials Coordinator to supply parts to the production area, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. This full-time position works Monday
- Friday
from 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
; additional overtime as needed or required.

DAY-TO-DAY AS A MATERIALS COORDINATOR:
  • Purchase required equipment and supplies.
  • Communicate with vendors and maintain forecasted equipment arrival dates.
  • Find solutions to equipment lead time issues.
  • Manage inventory stock levels.
  • Maintain on-site inventory organization.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Complete 100% physical inventory annually.
  • Load, unload and store equipment from transport trucks.
  • Effectively communicate with other team members to discuss special items, obstacles, lead times, etc..

Experience
  • Exposure to vehicle repairs and/or parts sales a plus.
  • MRP or equivalent business system experience.
  • Purchasing parts and service for ongoing manufacturing operations.
  • Time management and execution of detailed tasks.
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude.
  • Forklift operation.
  • This position will require working on a computer much of the time and the ability to learn a new MRP system.
