- Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care with appropriate resource management for adult and pediatric patients in cooperation with center physicians
- Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction by adhering to Piedmont Urgent Care service and courtesy standards
- Provide patient care within the respective clinical area in accordance with the Professional Staff Bylaws, rules and regulations and Piedmont Urgent Care policies and procedures
- Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff
- Authenticate reports of services rendered and maintain accurate and complete records
- Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement
- Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations
- Engage in professional development and maintain certification in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS, and any additional required specialty training/certifications
- Report to the Regional Vice President of Clinical Operations and/or Area Clinical Operations Director (ACOD)
- Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in accordance with the state of Georgia
- Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current DEA registration
- Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
- Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
- BLS certification (we will provide this if needed)
- Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by Well Street Urgent Care
- Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other employees
- Outstanding bedside manner with children and adults
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other employees
- Positive, energetic attitude that inspires other team members
- Sense of service and team orientation without hubris
- Desire to contribute to building and maintaining a great organization
