Key responsibilities
  • Building relationships, qualifying customers, developing new business from cold calls and referrals, and selling the value of the many landscape services we provide
  • Be adept at qualifying sales leads, making effective sales presentations, and managing customer relationships throughout a proven sales process
  • Build and maintain rapport and positive working relations with field, office, and management personnel to resolve problems, recognize opportunities, and maximize profits
  • In a timely fashion, prepare complete, clear, and concise reports, proposals, agreements, and other required company paperwork; maintain written information relative to delays, changes, special conditions, and schedules, etc.
  • Produce conceptual and finished landscape designs, including elevation drawings
Qualifications
  • Experience selling and estimating maintenance and project contracts, service agreements, or any other intangible services in commercial and residential environments
  • Landscape industry experience is a plus but not a requirement
  • Should be comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM applications
  • Must be able to work independently, effectively communicate our services and adequately answer customer’s questions and concerns to overcome their objections
  • Individual needs to be energetic, motivated, and maintain the drive necessary to develop business in this growing industry
  • Ability to work independently and in conjunction with Project Managers and Account Managers
  • Extensive knowledge of site analysis, plant and hardscape design, construction methods, and grading
  • Meet sale targets at the end of month and year
