Summary:
Responsible for creating electronic files for clients and accurately entering applicants' data into the tribal enrollment database.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for preparation of CDIB/citizenship applications for processing, which includes the copying/scanning of appropriate documents
* Responsible for scanning all CDIB/citizenship applications and various other documents (received via mail, email and fax) into the tribal enrollment database in a timely manner
* Responsible for entering citizen information into the tribal enrollment database while paying close attention to details and accuracy
* Determines whether an application is considered complete and routes to the appropriate party for processing
* Responsible for routing appropriate paperwork or correspondence received to the appropriate personnel for processing
* Assists with email correspondence that does not require management attention
* Responsible for processing Verification of Indian Preference (VIP) Forms, Eagle Feather Forms, Tribal Enrollment Eligibility Forms, and various Educational Grant applications
* Responsible for filling in at the front office as needed
* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.

* 2 years directly related experience
Education:
Essential:
* High School, GED or Equivalent

* Bachelors Degree in directly related field

* Required:
At least 4 years of experience in working in a tribal government environment.
Required:
At least 3 years of experience in CDIB, enrollment processing, or equivalent specialized experience.
Required:
At least 2 years of demonstrated exceptional customer service.

* Standard Driver's License
* Pass general background check
