- Prepare and present clear and reliable treatment plans for patients, including presenting financial options to patients and documenting the final financial arrangement
- Secure appropriate documentation from patients and store in applicable software(s)
- Build strong relationships with patients and support activities that grow the practice
- Reconcile invoices, identify discrepancies, and check reports for accuracy
- Document clear and reliable billing activity in internal databases and reporting software(s)
- Receive and sort incoming payments with attention to accuracy and timeline
- Manage the status of accounts and balances; strong ability to identify inconsistencies
- Processing and posting patient payments
- Issue invoices and receipts to patients
- Update the accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments
- Coordinate with Central Billing and Medical Billing teams to ensure proper billing and collections
- Maintaining a professional reception area
- Monitoring and replying to emails and voicemails
- Checking daily appointment schedules and filling gaps to ensure positive production
- Preparing end-of-day reports and deposits
- Maintaining OSHA and HIPAA Compliance
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor s Degree in a related field preferred - Experience:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required; prior dental experience preferred
Dental practices run at a fast pace and treatment coordinators will be required to keep up with the flow of doctors and patients.

- Stand for long periods
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
