We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to implement procurement strategies under the leadership of the Procurement Manager, working closely with Category Managers and business leaders at the Ada Cement Plant. This role coordinates the operational and tactical procurement of local goods and services, including contract implementation, category strategy execution, and supplier performance tracking.

• Maintain strong business relationships with local management to anticipate procurement needs and optimize cost of goods and services
• Identify local savings opportunities in coordination with operations
• Ensure global and local procurement policies are communicated and followed
• Execute RFx processes according to procurement policies
• Track and report performance metrics and achieved results using existing templates
• Support local operations with procurement of equipment, parts, and services
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments, promoting a culture of safety

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
• Experience with cross-functional teams and strategic sourcing initiatives
• Ability to draft and manage procurement contracts
• Understanding of technical aspects of product lines from a procurement perspective
