Communication Dispatcher (Part-Time)
The City of Ada is accepting applications for the part-time position of Communication Dispatcher. Individuals selected will be responsible for providing emergency and non-emergency dispatch services for the 911 emergency dispatch center for the City of Ada and Pontotoc County Fire, law enforcement, and emergency medical services.
QualificationsIndividuals selected must be able to pass pre-employment testing for job compatibility assessment tools, and be able to multi-task with telephone, radio, and computer. Successful applicants must be able to make quick decisions and provide quality customer service and communication, both orally and in writing, and must be able to work day, evening, or midnight shifts.
