- 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (occasionally covered by physicians)
Ardmore
- 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
- 4:00 PM - 3:00 AM (occasionally covered by physicians)
- 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (highest need)
- Ada and Ardmore, Oklahoma
- Emergency Department setting
- Active Oklahoma Medical License or IMLC Accepted
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Must be Emergency Medicine residency trained
- Family Medicine and Internal Medicine candidates will not be considered
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Trauma Level III
- Annual Volume:
Approximately 40,000 visits (Ardmore) - 17 Emergency Department beds
- EMR:
Epic - 20-25 patients per shift
- No call
- Admission rate:
Approximately 15%
Candidates should be comfortable performing routine Emergency Medicine procedures, including:
- Intubations
- Central line placement
- Standard Emergency Medicine procedures
Consulting services available include:
- Cardiology
- Nephrology
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Pediatrics
- Urology
- Podiatry
- Tele-Neurology
- Hospitalists
Availability
- ASAP start
- 8-10 shifts per month
- Nights, weekends, and holiday coverage preferred
- Ongoing through January 29, 2027
License
- Oklahoma License or IMLC Accepted
Board Status
- Board Certified Emergency Medicine
- Emergency Medicine residency trained required
Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
Experience
- Comfortable managing 20-25 patients per shift
- Proficient in routine Emergency Medicine procedures
- Experience in a Level III Trauma Center preferred
