Locums Emergency Medicine Ada, OK (OK or IMLC)Why This Role

• Ongoing through January 2027 - locums-to-perm potential
• Two-site coverage (Ada and Ardmore)
Assignment Details
• Start/end: ASAP through 1/29/2027 (authorized through January 29, 2027); 8-10 shifts/month
• Schedule:
  
  Day and night shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays are the priority need.
• Coverage type:
  Emergency department, actual EM shifts
• Volume: 20-25 patients/shift; 40k annual volume; 15% admission rate; 17 beds
• Setting:
  Level 3 trauma; 24/7 anesthesia, general surgery, radiology, OR response; consultants include cardiology, nephrology, surgery, podiatry, ortho, peds, urology, tele-neurology, hospitalist; no backup
• Support: 6 RNs, 3 MAs, 1-2 PA/NPs, 2 office staff
• EMR:
  Epic
• Credentialing: 90 days
Clinical Details
• Required scope:
  Emergency medicine - usual EM procedures including central lines and intubations
• No newborn deliveries in the ED; L&D department on site
Requirements
• ER residency-trained and board certified (Family Medicine and Internal Medicine not accepted)
• License: OK or IMLC
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Active DEA
Compensation
• Rate negotiable, open to your number
