Substation Engineering Manager

Lead a team of talented engineers in shaping the design and execution of electrical substations. You’ll focus on ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard, while mentoring your team and supporting business growth. This role combines technical leadership with people management and strategic oversight.

• Guide and develop a team of engineers, designers, and technical staff.
• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of substation projects.
• Ensure quality, cost, and schedule targets are met across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to solve technical challenges.
• Foster a positive team culture and support professional development.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and team efficiency.

• Experienced in substation engineering and electrical design. (10+ years)
• Comfortable managing teams of diverse skill sets.
• Skilled at balancing technical oversight with project delivery and client engagement.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work with engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Motivated by mentoring others and helping teams succeed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• PE
• Significant experience in substation engineering and project management.
• Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and best practices.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
