We are currently looking for aFull Time Program Therapist to join our Violence Prevention and Residential Recovery Team B team located at the Healthy Lifestyles working Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Summary

Provides therapeutic services to families, couples and individuals.

Responsibilities
  • Provides family, couple, individual and group therapies as needed
  • Implements empirically validated measurements into therapeutic practice to assess for client progress in therapy and to measure overall therapeutic effectiveness with clients
  • Collaborates with other professionals to ensure appropriate care of clients
  • Leads family education classes, such as relationship enhancement training
  • Assists in ongoing initiatives to build and maintain referrals for services
  • Utilizes an electronic health record keeping system to complete progress notes, treatment plans and other therapy-related materials to document appropriate legal and ethical standards
  • Interfaces with other Department of Family Services programs and other non-tribal entities to effectively deliver services to clients
  • Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types
    • Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner

  • Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities

  • Makes sure knowledge of all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
