Occupational Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy services to patients primarily in a Medical/Surgical setting with occasional assignments in Acute Rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, conduct evaluations, and deliver necessary interventions effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and establish tailored treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding recovery and rehabilitation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Preferred experience in Medical/Surgical settings; will consider new graduates with appropriate clinical affiliations.
