Therapist – Physical Therapy Assistant

$1404.20/week –

Job Summary:

Assists licensed Physical Therapists in providing rehabilitative care to patients with physical functioning disorders. Supports clinical interventions through evidence-based practices and helps enhance patients’ mobility and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Support Physical Therapists by implementing treatment plans and clinical interventions.
• Administer manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device use to patients.
• Assess patient progress and communicate findings to supervising therapists for treatment adjustments.
• Document treatment activities, patient responses, and progress accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Participate in patient care conferences, team meetings, and professional training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of PTA experience, with LTC or rehab setting preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with clinical documentation and treatment procedures.
• Be able to work effectively under supervision and support student supervision as needed.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Meet all regulatory and ethical practice standards as per APTA and state guidelines.
