Human Resources Manager – Manufacturing Plant
Location: Ada, Oklahoma (Relocation Assistance Available) - 100% Onsite
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Union/labor relations experience is required - for a large manufacturing facility with approximately 600 employees
.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
, preferably in a manufacturing environment. - Prior experience as an HR Manager or HR Lead supporting plant operations
. - Union/labor relations experience is required
, including grievance handling and negotiations. - Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and HR compliance.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing or industrial plant environment.
- Supporting a workforce of 500+ employees.
- Labor negotiations and collective bargaining.
- HR metrics, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions for a large manufacturing facility with approximately 600 employees
. This role requires a hands‑on HR leader with union environment experience who can partner with plant leadership to support business objectives, employee relations, talent management, compliance, and workforce development.
- Lead all plant‑level HR operations, policies, and employee relations.
- Partner with plant leadership to support operational and strategic business goals.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for labor relations, union interactions, grievances, and negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and workplace regulations.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and leave administration.
- Manage employee training, development, and HR records.
- Represent the company during EEOC, NLRB, arbitration, and other employment‑related proceedings.
- Supervise and mentor the HR team while driving continuous process improvements.
- Track and report HR metrics and workforce analytics.
