The Distribution Trainer/Project Supervisor is responsible for leading a team in the planning, development, and delivery of training programs for Contractor personnel, ensuring proficiency in using Government‑furnished data systems, including WMS and other IT tools. The role requires managing the hiring process, overseeing training delivery, and ensuring compliance with all training requirements outlined in the Task Order. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in training, leadership, and distribution operations, with the ability to deploy globally within 48 hours to support emerging needs.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Distribution Trainers/Project Supervisor: $

Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of at least four (4) personnel designated as the Distribution Training and Project Supervisor team to complete all Government‑furnished training requirements in WMS and other IT data systems specified in each Task Order.
  • Support Program Manager with all hiring actions for the training team personnel.
  • Provide training to Contractor employees on the use of Government‑furnished transactional data systems, including WMS and other IT data systems.
  • Utilize the DLA Distribution Operations Training Manuals furnished by the Government to train Contractor personnel.
  • Ensure that all training is completed in compliance with the requirements outlined in TE 3.3 (Government‑Furnished Data Systems), TE 3.2 (Government‑Furnished Training), and TE 4.1 (Contractor‑Furnished Training).
  • Oversee the delivery of training programs, ensuring that all Distribution Contractor personnel are proficient in the use of relevant systems and processes, including e‑learning platforms, virtual training environments, and other digital resources.
  • Maintain the ability to deploy globally within 48 hours to support emergent requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management. Incorporate new knowledge and techniques into training programs to enhance their relevance and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to identify training needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities Requested
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a training specialist, with a strong background in developing, delivering, and managing training programs.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a supervisory or work leadership role, demonstrating effective team management and operational oversight.
  • Four (4) years of related experience in logistics, distribution, or project management within a training or operations environment.
  • Experience with Government‑furnished data systems such as WMS or similar IT systems is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of training methodologies and the ability to adapt training programs to meet various employee needs.
  • Proven ability to lead and guide teams in the delivery of technical training to ensure competence and compliance with established systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both Contractor employees and Government representatives.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy in training materials, compliance with regulations, and system usage.
  • Must pass pre‑employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
