Job Summary
- Provide overall direction and strategic input for Specialty, Ambulatory, Primary Care Clinics and/or Clinic Support Services.
- Responsible for ensuring high standards of service through the use of human, fiscal and material resources.
- Demonstrates strong commitment to excellence, development and growth of inter-disciplinary staff.
- Development of positive professional relationships with physicians and intra-departmental peers, and the development and provision of comprehensive services and programs within the departments.
- Responsible for planning, implementing, directing, monitoring and promoting all current service initiatives.
- Responsible for leading strategic and business planning initiatives; formulating budgets; collaborating with Marketing to ensure effective promotion to communicate the core message of the service; manage all human resources in a cost effective yet supportive manner; and develop and monitor the service outcome data, e.g. clinical outcomes, service and cost.
- Alongside the Administrative director, has a role in the recruitment and retention of all physicians and APP's.
