Project Superintendent - 31547

Ada, OK | Maintenance | Full Time

We are currently looking for a Full Time Project Superintendent to join our Area of Housing Development team located at the Housing Annex.

Develops, implements and coordinates established special projects as well as coordinating new initiatives, which promote the overall mission of the Chickasaw Nation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains documentation as appropriate -- files, logs, records, reports, etc.
  • Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information
  • Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development
  • Maintains knowledge of, follows, and enforces all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
  • Prepares weekly reports
  • Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area
  • Assigns, reviews, monitors and ensures performance of assigned staff for area of responsibility
  • Participates in candidate selection process
  • Assigns tasks and responsibilities of assigned staff
  • Reviews and documents work effectiveness of assigned staff
  • Coaches and corrects assigned staff through performance deficiencies
  • Observes and documents work behaviors of assigned staff
  • Ensures cooperative and respectful work relationship of assigned staff including interpersonal training and resolving internal issues
  • Ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines for assigned work area
  • May be required to act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the manager to ensure all operational standards are maintained
  • Participates in meetings to ensure effective communication with staff, peers, supervisors and management
  • Serves as a point of contact for issues that arise during project planning, development, deployment, and operational life cycle
  • Communicates project activities; supports the decision making process; and ensures approval of all plans, activities, products and deliverables, and resource expenditures
  • Document key project activities and provide written and verbal reports to management personnel as requested
  • Prepares project plan and identifies needed resources to meet requirements and timeline for delivery of services on-time and under budget
  • Manages, plans, and monitors activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters
  • Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Skills:

  • Basic Computer skills
  • Complete level 1 Core Leadership Training within 12 mos
  • Excellent mathematics skills
  • Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of products

Experience:

  • 5 years directly related experience

Education:

  • High School, GED or Equivalent

Credentials:

  • Standard Driver's License
  • Pass gaming background check
  • CN Core Leadership Level 1
