Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
The role is responsible for operation and maintenance of the plant. The incumbent will need to operate in a safe and efficient manner following all personal protective equipment (PPE) and process requirements. This role is classified as safety sensitive.
ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE
· Properly follow all company policies and MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
· Responsible for a safe work environment for themselves and co-workers.
· Greases, performs oil changes and preventative maintenance on equipment.
· Report all major maintenance problems to Superintendent.
· Repair and replace conveyor belts when needed.
· Change plant screens when needed.
· Maintain plant site and plant with skid steer, shovel, and wash down with hose.
· Operate small power tools.
· Operate water truck for dust control of roads.
· Operate front end loader to feed the plant and load trucks when needed.
· Responsible for ensuring daily maintenance of plant is completed.
· Regular attendance is required.
· 10+ hour days and weekends are common.
· Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· High School or Degree or GED required
· Must be at least 18 years old
· 2-3 years of experience in plant maintenance preferred
CERTIFICATION/OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools
· Repairing and troubleshooting
