We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Front of House Clerk to join our HUB Cafe Group team located at the Carl Albert Service Center working 2:00PM-10:30PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.

Summary:

Provides an excellence experience for customers while they are in the HUB café and dining area. Services will include preparing coffee and shakes, stocking retail products as well as running our front of house POS.

Responsibilities:

• Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
• Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
• Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
• Maintains and promotes professionalism
• Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
• Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
• Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
• Ensures cleanliness, maintenance, safety and sanitation of kitchen and or other assigned areas and reports all necessary problems immediately
• Educates on menu, dietary options and healthier options and answers any questions
• Presents new recipes to leadership based on industry trends, holiday options, and dietary restrictions
• Coffee and or juice bar operations and service
• Assists in prepping coffee/juice bar workstation with clean equipment, dishes and supplies
• Learns and follows coffee and juice recipes
• Operates coffee and juice barrista equipment
• May perform "open" or "close" responsibilities for assigned work area
• Assists and guides customers with purchase selection
• Engages potential customers and guides with selection and purchase decisions
• May order catolog items if not in stock
• Promotes products to increase guest satisfaction and store sales
• Operates point-of-sale terminal to tally customer purchases and ensure accurate payment is received
• Provides accurate change for cash purchases
• Processes discounts, refunds, exchanges, coupons accurately
• Balances register/terminal and completes reports for receipts, cash balance
• May perform minor trouble shooting of POS
• Maintains accurate cash count and assume responsibility for any shortages at end of shift
• May be responsible to confirm POS pricing updates
• Stocks retail items and supplies in assigned areas
• Participates in inventory process for facility -- weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually -- per facility requirements
• Continually checks expiration dates on retail items and tracks spoiled items for internal reporting and disposition
• Bags and/or wraps items for customers to transport
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Experience:

Education:

• High School, GED or Equivalent
