Outside Sales Engineer

Location:

Oklahoma | Travel: ~50% | Full-Time

The Outside Sales Engineer is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships in Oklahoma, identifying manufacturing challenges, and delivering engineered solutions that drive value. This role requires technical understanding, consultative selling skills, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles.

• 3–5 years of outside sales experience (capital equipment or industrial sales preferred)
• 2–5 years of industry experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, automation, or industrial equipment
• Mechanical or Industrial Engineering background (degree or equivalent experience)
• Background in CNC machining, Tooling Sales, Metal Fabrication, Industrial sales
• Reading technical documentation and specifications
• Comparing equipment, processes, and ROI solutions
• Understanding customer workflows and pain points
• Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Willing and able to travel regularly
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Clean criminal background
• Proof of college degree or written explanation if degree was not completed

• Must attend manufacturer training programs
• Travel to factories in the U.S. and overseas
• Continuously develop technical and sales expertise
• Must complete and pass a Pre-Employment Aptitude Assessment (APQ)
