We are currently looking for a Full Time Permanency Manager to join our Child Welfare Permanency Team D team located at the Colony Building in Ada, OK.

Summary:
Provides daily oversight and supervision to a permanency team, to ensure quality and effective services are being delivered to individuals and families served. The manager ensures adherence to tribal and federal code, standard operating procedures, policy, and current best practices.

Responsibilities:

* Directs practice and provides case consultation to permanency staff to ensure standards are met within the context of family-centered practice to achieve safety, permanency, and well-being for children in the child welfare system

* Oversees tribal custody and Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) cases to ensure all First American children are receiving holistic services and ICWA is followed

* Monitors and trains permanency staff in areas of case management, court processes, cultural engagement, and SOP guidelines

* May perform direct case management for families, including assessment, case management, referrals for resources and court advocacy

* Plans, and assigns cases to permanency staff according to staff competence and case needs

* Responds to complaints and de-escalates difficult situations

* Reviews permanency worker candidates, recommends candidates, and participates in the interview and selection process

* Assists in the development and implementation of program policy and standard operating procedures

* Completes program reports, data collection, record keeping, and business correspondence related to permanency

* Develops and maintains documentation as appropriate - files, logs, records, reports, etc.

* Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development

* Maintains knowledge of, follows, and enforces all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area

* Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency

* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities

* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types

- Maintains and promotes professionalism
- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards

* Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area

* Basic project management skills, including communication, scope, and schedules

* Understanding of business fundamentals, processes, and documentation

* Knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting

* Knowledge of federal grant programs and requirements

* Knowledge of Indian Child Welfare Act and Statutes
