Job DescriptionThe Auto Parts Store Delivery Driver will primarily determine the priority of deliveries, receive and review delivery orders for completeness and maintain a clean driving record while adhering to company policy. Deliveries will primarily focus on automotive replacement parts and may include the delivery of heavy‑duty parts, automotive and industrial paint, and body shop supplies and equipment from our Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts retail store locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, including assessing customer needs and evaluating satisfaction.
- Abide by rules of the road and laws for safely operating a vehicle.
- Determine the priority of deliveries, including the most timely and efficient route, when not directed by a manager.
- Receive and process orders by reviewing for completeness and clarity before delivery.
- Maintain a clean and well‑running delivery vehicle through routine maintenance and inspections.
- Safely drive a vehicle in different weather and traffic conditions.
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Check in freight, stock, and retrieve parts.
- Handle cash and credit transactions.
- Answer telephone calls and attend to customers.
- Assist with store inventory or other location inventory as assigned.
- Maintain a clean facility inside and outside, including sweeping, mopping, and spotting.
- Adhere to scheduled work time unless authorized by a manager.

QualificationsEducation and/or Experience – High School Diploma or equivalent or motivation to pursue a GED. Automotive parts and/or customer service experience preferred.
Language Skills – Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence; present information to customers and employees.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability – Apply common sense to carry out detailed or uncomplicated instructions; handle problems with few concrete variables.
Computer Skills – Basic computer knowledge including web browsing and Microsoft Office.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Valid Driver's License (Class E required for all Missouri locations); clean driving record.
Physical DemandsRegularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Work EnvironmentRegular exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, wet or humid conditions, external weather; occasional exposure to high places, fumes, chemicals, electrical shock. Noise level usually moderate.
