Make a significant difference in the lives of students with unique needs! This full-time opportunity offers a chance to use your specialized expertise and compassion to support children in a dynamic educational environment. We are seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to work onsite in substantially separate classrooms for grades K1 and 35. Your role will be vital in teaching and caring for students with significant cognitive and physical disabilities, some of whom are non-verbal, require toileting support, or are on the autism spectrum.

You’ll collaborate closely with a team that may include Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other educational professionals to ensure every child receives the support and instruction they need to thrive.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Licensure or eligibility as a Special Education Teacher
  • Experience designing and implementing individualized curriculum
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
  • Familiarity with supporting students with severe disabilities, both cognitive and physical
  • Comfortable assisting with personal care and toileting needs
  • Ability to collaborate with RBTs and other team members for student success
  • Experience working with non-verbal students and augmentative communication a plus
Responsibilities
  • Deliver specially designed instruction onsite in substantially separate K1 or 35 classrooms
  • Modify curriculum and teaching approaches for individualized needs
  • Support students personal care and behavior plans
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Work cooperatively with support staff and therapists
  • Maintain appropriate records and comply with IEP goals
