Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Itasca, Illinois
Assignment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $55,000–$60,000 annually, depending on experience
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Responsibilities- Process daily cash receipts, ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit card payments accurately and timely
- Apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts and reconcile unapplied cash
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances through B2B collections
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, deductions, and chargebacks
- Prepare and distribute customer invoices and account statements
- Reconcile accounts receivable balances and maintain accurate customer account records
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account activity
- Assist with month-end close by preparing AR reconciliations, aging reports, and journal entry support
- Maintain organized AR documentation for audit purposes
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 3–5 years of accounts receivable, cash application, or general accounting experience
- Experience with B2B collections and payment reconciliation preferred
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
