Job SummaryThis position performs collection responsibilities according to established procedures for various types of customers. He/She impacts the organization by improving cash flow, minimizing delinquencies, reducing Days Sales Outstanding, and limiting bad debt exposure. This position manages customer import billing requests and responses. He/She has extensive contact with customers, outside agencies, and internal departments concerning issues impacting payment. This position must have a knowledge of multiple products, services, or business units.
Responsibilities- Provides excellent customer service.
- Responds to customer inquiries within required service level agreement.
- Identifies, prioritizes, and resolves complex issues delaying payment.
- Develops, creates, and analyzes collection and accounts receivable reports.
- Updates customer and other stakeholder information using various software programs.
- Monitors and maintains assigned customer accounts.
- Submits recommendations to write-off account balances.
- Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent in Business or related field - Preferred
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products
- Prior Collections experience
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Basic negotiation skills
- Experience handling objections and gaining commitment - Preferred
- This job is a grade 8.
- Hours of Operation are subject to change: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST.
- Position is located in Addison, IL.
- Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to self‑relocate.

Pay RangeOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $21.65/hr to $35.15/hr pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
