Addison Trail High School is seeking a dedicated Industry and Technology Teacher Aide to support hands‑on, career‑focused learning in our classrooms and labs. This role assists teachers in preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and providing individualized support to students during instructional activities. The ideal candidate is organized, safety‑minded, and enthusiastic about helping students explore technology, engineering, and skilled trades pathways. OtherFunctions
• Attends meetings and in‑service presentations for the purpose of acquiring and/or conveying information relative to job functions.
• Monitors individual and/or groups of students in a variety of settings (e.g. hallways, field trips, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Adhering to safety practices with wood and machine shop tools, automotive lab, screen printing, photography, pre‑school and culinary classes; operating standard office equipment including computers and software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Auto Desk Suite, Microsoft Office Suite; preparing and maintaining accurate records; shopping for culinary/food supplies; inventory, costing, verification of record keeping. - Knowledge

The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 34% sitting, 33% walking, and 33% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a clean atmosphere.
EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent.
LicensesEducator License with Stipulations – Paraprofessional endorsement or higher.

Position Type: Full‑Time
Salary: $18.95 to $20.48 per year
