Our lab assistants support our instructors in running a safe and effective lab. We are currently looking for a lab assistant in the following program:

• Construction

• Assist students with practicing their skills and reaching competency.
• Assist with lab procedures and safety.
• Review projects and instructions with students in smaller groups as needed.
• Provide feedback on students to teachers, student services counselor, career counselor and administration as needed.
• Support the lab by organizing and moving supplies and/or equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Certification and experience in the field of the program you are applying for.
• Paraprofessional educator endorsed or eligible to obtain Paraprofessional educator endorsement from

Bilingual; helpful but not required

Hourly Rate: $30 / Hour

Benefits NOT Included (Part-time role)

Follow TCD's schedule:
Aug. 10, 2026 - May 20, 2027

• Option 1:
  Mon – Fri / 8:15am – 2:15pm (5.5 hours paid) - With a 30-Minute Lunch
• Option 2:
  Mon – Fri / 8:00am – 10:30am (2.5 hours paid)
• Option 3:
  Mon – Fri / 12:00pm – 2:30pm (2.5 hours paid)
• We are willing to hire two applicants if there is interest in a job share.
