Parts Town is building a modern, scalable Data & AI platform to support high growth, distribution centric operations across our global business The Enterprise Data & Semantic Architect owns this semantic foundation end-to-end, spanning Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as the enterprise data platform and Palantir Foundry as a primary ontology, application, and decisioning layer. This role ensures that data pipelines, domain data products, ontologies, and AI use cases all speak the same business language, eliminating duplicated logic, reconciliation issues, and brittle integrations.

This is a senior, hands‑on architecture role operating at the intersection of business domains, data engineering, analytics, and AI enablement.

• Own and evolve the enterprise semantic model / ontology across core Parts Town domains (Customer, Part, Inventory, Order, Pricing, Supplier, Warehouse).
• Define canonical business objects, relationships, hierarchies, and metrics that are platform‑agnostic by design.
• Lead ontology design and implementation in Palantir Foundry, including object modeling, relationships, derived metrics, and object‑level security.
• Ensure semantic alignment between Palantir ontology objects and GCP domain data products ( Big Query , curated datasets, ML‑ready data).
• Partner closely with Business Process Owners, Product Owners, and domain leaders to capture real operational logic and prioritize semantic evolution.
• Establish and run lightweight governance for semantic changes (definitions, versioning, impact analysis, documentation).
• Enable analytics, applications, and AI/agentic use cases using shared, trusted business objects.
• Act as the senior semantic authority, advising Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI teams on correct use of enterprise definitions.

• You have 8+ years in data architecture, semantic modeling, or enterprise analytics architecture roles.
• You have p roven experience designing enterprise‑scale data or semantic models.
• You obtain strong SQL and Python skills; experience with Big Query or similar cloud data platforms.
• You have e xperience with Palantir Foundry or ability to ramp quickly.
• You have h ands on experience with Big Query or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Experience with knowledge graphs, graph databases, or semantic technologies (RDF, OWL, graph models).
• Experience supporting AI/ML or agentic decisioning use cases.
