Operations Manager - Vehicle Division

Boschung America, part of the global Boschung Group, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Vehicle Business Division from our North American headquarters in Addison, Illinois.

If you're a hands-on operations leader with experience managing service organization, logistics, warehouse operations, and customer delivery for heavy equipment or specialty vehicles, we'd like to hear from you.

You'll play a key leadership role ensuring every customer order is executed flawlessly—from purchase order through delivery, commissioning, and ongoing service support.

What You'll Do

As Operations Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our Vehicle Business Division, including:

Operations Leadership

• Lead all day-to-day operational activities
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Service Operations

• Oversee field service, warranty, preventative maintenance, and commissioning
• Resolve major customer issues
• Support technician development and staffing
• Manage customer orders from purchase through final delivery
• Coordinate delivery schedules with global production facilities
• Oversee transportation, logistics, customs, and delivery schedules
• Ensure equipment inspections, commissioning, and customer acceptance

Warehouse & Inventory

• Lead warehouse operations and inventory control
• Improve warehouse efficiency and workflow
• Manage freight providers and transportation costs
• Optimize inventory while maintaining customer support levels

Facility Management

• Oversee operations of our Addison headquarters, warehouse, and service facility
• Manage maintenance, vendors, security, utilities, and operational assets
• Support future facility improvements and expansion

Customer Success

• Serve as the operational escalation point for key customers
• Support customer visits, demonstrations, and contract execution
• Build strong relationships with airports, municipalities, contractors, and government agencies

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience
• Experience in heavy equipment, specialty vehicles, airport equipment, municipal equipment, transportation, or industrial service
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Experience with ERP, CRM, and inventory management systems
• Excellent communication and project management abilities
• Ability to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada (approximately 20–30%)

Preferred

• Municipal vehicle operations experience
• International logistics and customs knowledge
• Warehouse management experience
• Warranty administration experience
