Location: Addison, IL On site
Employment Type: Full Time Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Saturdays as needed
Compensation: $120,000 to $135,000 depending on experience plus full benefits
Reports To: Site Lead General Manager

With vertically integrated capabilities across machining, assembly, testing, and overhaul, they are known for delivering flight critical systems with exceptional quality, reliability, and engineering excellence.
The Operations Manager Assembly is responsible for overseeing all electromechanical and mechanical assembly operations, including complex actuator systems, motors, pneumatic compressors, ball screws, flex shafts, floor rail systems, and other aerospace components. This role owns the production schedule and capacity forecasting across multiple product lines and is accountable for achieving monthly and quarterly delivery commitments.
The Operations Manager drives daily execution by removing roadblocks, coordinating closely with Planning and Quality, and managing layered build structures where multiple subassemblies converge into top level assemblies. The ideal candidate is a hands on manufacturing leader with strong aerospace assembly experience, a data driven mindset, and a proven ability to develop high performing teams in a fast paced, regulated environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecute production schedules and ensure on time delivery across all assembly programs
Forecast labor and capacity weekly, monthly, and quarterly and adjust plans as needed
Lead complex layered assembly builds from subassemblies through final integration
Identify and remove production bottlenecks in partnership with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain
Implement and sustain standard work, controlled build sequences, and process documentation
Track KPIs including throughput, first pass yield, labor efficiency, and WIP aging
Support New Product Introduction by ensuring production readiness and workforce training
Lead, coach, and develop assemblers, leads, and technicians, including succession planning
Support cost, quality, and delivery commitments and contribute to site level performance goals
Ensure product quality, traceability, safety, and compliance with aerospace standards
Minimum 8 to 10 years of manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing electromechanical or mechanical assembly operations
Experience managing complex, layered assembly builds in aerospace or other regulated environments
Proven ownership of production scheduling, capacity planning, and delivery performance
Strong people leadership experience including coaching, performance management, and workforce development
Data driven mindset with experience improving operational KPIs
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Experience supporting New Product Introduction from launch through steady state production
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or equivalent experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible under ITAR and EAR regulations
Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $135,000 depending on experience
