Staff Specialist (Hourly)
Position Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* 5+ years' technical experience relevant to specific work area preferred.
* Ability to understand written and verbal assignments, including the ability to interpret related documents such as quality specifications, Kanban cards or work orders.
* Ability to understand and achieve compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to build teams.
* Basic PC skills including experience with MS Office Suite preferred.
* Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.
* Experience developing and/or training team members preferred.
* Good people skills and willingness not only to teach and help others, but an interest in working with and learning from others.
* Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
* Positive can-do attitude.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to work in high noise areas and wear appropriate hearing protection devices.
* Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch.
* Ability to use hard tined rake to move/break apart parts frequently.
* The position requires the ability to regularly stand.
* The position requires good close vision and depth perception skills.
* Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
