CNC Programmer / Applications Engineer (Turning Focus): $80,000–$90,000/year Estimator (Gear Manufacturing): $80,000–$95,000/year Process Engineer (Gear Manufacturing): $80,000–$110,000/year
What you'll tackle
CNC Programmer / Applications Engineer Write robust programs for CNC lathes/turning centers serving gear-related parts
Devise machining strategies and tooling approaches for complex features
Support quoting with technical feasibility input
Continuously optimize cycle times and productivity
Coordinate with engineering and production to deliver first-time-right results
This is a hands-on programming role—not a purely theoretical applications seat.
Estimator Dissect prints, specs, and customer needs to shape realistic estimates
Map process steps, materials, and hours into accurate costing
Work directly with engineering and sales to position competitive quotes
Ensure estimates reflect how gears are truly manufactured
Process Engineer Design, validate, and refine gear production processes
Elevate workflow, tooling, and machining strategies
Lead continuous improvement and resolve production bottlenecks
Deliver consistent quality and cost-effective throughput from concept to production
What you bring
Hands-on gear manufacturing experience (strongly preferred/required for most roles)
CNC machining/programming proficiency; turning expertise essential for the programmer role Sharp blueprint reading and technical interpretation
Practical, problem-solving mindset grounded in shop-floor realities
Engineering/technical education preferred
