We are seeking a detail‑oriented QA Technician to join our team in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.

This is a fantastic Temp‑to‑Hire opportunity with excellent starting pay!

• Location: Glendale Heights, IL
• Pay Rate: $21.00 / hour
• Schedule: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM | Sunday - Friday
• Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

• Experience: 1‑2 years of experience specifically within a Food Manufacturing environment (Required).
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and excellent attendance.

• Conduct SSOP and GMP audits and immediately identify/report any unsatisfactory conditions.
• Perform Critical Control Point (CCP) checks and ensure total compliance with food safety requirements.
• Identify and place unacceptable raw, in-process, or finished products on hold, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
• Verify labels match the product and take immediate corrective action if discrepancies are found.

• Maintain, calculate, and update product specifications.
• Collect material samples, conduct inspections, and perform physical tests to identify the condition of raw, in-process, and cooked materials.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret production and quality data (weights, sizes, etc.) to determine product acceptability based on company procedures.

• Verify raw and dry ingredients before blending, and inspect blended, cooked, and frozen products.
• Assist with combining ingredients for the production process as needed.
• Report all food safety or quality issues directly to the QA Manager or Production Supervisor.
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.
