About the Role
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented General Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team in Addison, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions accurately, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
This position involves operating and monitoring production machinery, handling materials, and supporting daily manufacturing operations in a chemical and mechanical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various production and assembly machines.
- Follow written and verbal instructions in English accurately.
- Load, unload, and move materials and products as needed.
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere strictly to safety, compliance, and environmental regulations.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
- Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs and move cart loads up to 100 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to comply with all safety and operational procedures.
- Personal transportation preferred for reliable commute to the facility.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role is a plus but not mandatory.
