Build What People Remember.

At Jack Morton, we don’t just build displays, we build the environments people walk through, interact with, and remember.

From massive trade show booths to immersive branded spaces, our work shows up on some of the biggest stages in the world. Every wall, cabinet, counter, finish, and detail matters. That’s why we’re looking for skilled carpenters and cabinet makers who take pride in doing things the right way.

If you care about craftsmanship, enjoy building custom work, and want to see your projects come to life for global brands, this is the shop for you.

Cabinet Maker / Carpenter – Trade Shows & Experiential

Addison, IL / Onsite.

This is hands‑on fabrication work for someone who enjoys building custom pieces, solving problems in the shop, and working alongside a strong production team. You’ll help fabricate high‑end exhibit environments for major healthcare, technology, and consumer brands seen at trade shows and live events across the country.

No two builds are the same. One week could involve detailed cabinetry and millwork, the next could be large-scale exhibit structures and custom installations.

What You’ll Build
  • Custom cabinetry, counters, wall systems, and exhibit structures
  • Trade show booths and experiential environments for national and global events
  • Precision woodwork using laminates, veneers, trim, and solid surfaces
  • Shipping crates and protective packaging for worldwide transport
  • Custom fabrication solutions from blueprints and production drawings
What You’ll Do
  • Read blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication details
  • Cut, assemble, sand, laminate, and finish custom components
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Build with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
  • Work closely with designers, project managers, and fellow fabricators
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, safety‑first shop environment
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in carpentry, cabinetry, millwork, woodworking, or fabrication
  • Ability to read measurements and work from drawings
  • Pride in craftsmanship and finished quality
  • Reliable work ethic and team‑first mentality
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Bonus Points For
  • Trade show, exhibit, or experiential fabrication experience
  • Custom build or scenic shop experience
  • Knowledge of large‑scale branded environments or live events

Last but not least, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion.

Jack Morton is an equal opportunity employer; we strongly value diversity at our companies. We do not discriminate on race, religion, color, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
