Production Manager
The Production Supervisor is responsible for front-line leadership in day-to-day operations of a designated production team to include safety, quality, efficiencies and meeting customer expectations. Provides overall direction to production floor employees in the areas of production, scheduling, performance management, training and other related areas striving to improve overall operational efficiencies.
The salary range for this role is $70, per year. Exact salary offered will depend on candidate’s experience, work location, skills, etc.
The schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional flexibility to cover other supervisors as needed.

Production- Provides leadership and training to accomplish Production objectives to all employees for Safety, Quality, and Production.
- Coordinates Production activities with other departments to ensure Production goals/objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Supervisory duties
- Acts as first point of contact for operators regarding production issues
- Lead shift Safety discussions
- Assist with staffing requirements and employee scheduling
- Prepare and review employees' worked hours for submission to payroll
- Acts as first point of contact for operators regarding production issues
- Production efficiency duties
- Prevent over/under product runs
- Ensure accurate shift production counts
- Assist in product Changeover Acceptance
- Prevent over/under product runs
- Production process audit duties
- Ensure QPS’s are being followed
- Ensure Operator understands PDS’s
- Ensure Line Clearance Checklists are being used correctly
- Ensure QPS’s are being followed
- Cover for Production Supervisor planned PTO across all shifts
- Champion Safety committee
- Conduct monthly safety meetings
- Perform and drive core observation and process audits
- Perform Safety audits for PPE and workplace conditions
- Complete and transmit Production accessory inventory counts twice weekly
- Manage PPE/Consumable levels, source and order as required
- Assist in keeping accessory racks stocked and organized
- Assist with QC Audits and drum inspections
- Update and Maintain QC Documentation (QPS, JSA, PDS)
- Assist with new employee orientation training
- Conduct and document QPS training
- Assist with New Employee on the job training
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
- A bachelor degree in engineering or operations management preferred
- 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification a plus
- Previous Labor Relations experience
- Previous experience working in a Lean environment;
