We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the setup and operation of CNC Vertical Milling Centers in alignment with production requirements. You will be tasked with configuring tooling and fixtures, loading programs, and analyzing technical blueprints to ensure precision. A key part of your role involves conducting thorough quality checks—including initial and ongoing inspections—using precision tools like micrometers and calipers to verify part accuracy.

You will also handle machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting, while managing multiple machines simultaneously and completing several setups daily. Success in this position requires the ability to thrive within a collaborative, high-velocity production setting.

Core Requirements

  • Demonstrate proficiency in configuring and running Vertical Milling Centers.
  • Ensure project accuracy by interpreting complex technical blueprints.
  • Maintain high quality standards by utilizing micrometers, calipers, and gauges for part verification.
  • Leverage your expertise with Fanuc control systems to optimize machine performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience configuring and operating Haas VMC equipment.
  • Capability to modify and refine existing programs.
  • Working knowledge of G and M code programming languages.
  • Background operating advanced CNC machinery with up to 5‑axis capabilities.
  • Haas VF‑2 and VF‑5 Vertical Mills
  • Okuma Milling and Lathe systems
  • DMG Mori NVX 5100 and 7000 Mills
  • Expertise in CNC tooling management
  • Proficiency in G‑Code programming
  • Knowledge of M‑Code functions
  • Efficiency in CNC machine setup and changeover processes
  • Execution of machine setups for high‑volume production runs
  • Operation of 3‑4 axis VMC CNC Mills including Haas, Doosan, and Fanuc brands
  • Utilization of multimeters for electrical diagnostics
  • Management of 2‑4 axis CNC Lathes from Haas and Doosan
  • Operation of Vertical Lathe equipment
