My client is a growing manufacturing company who is looking to add a 2nd shift CNC Operator to their team!

Compensation Up To $30/hr

Responsibilities:

• 1. Setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• 2. Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• 3. Ensuring the CNC machines operate in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
• 4. Checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• 5. Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
• 6. Loading raw materials into the CNC machines.
• 7. Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
• 8. Testing operation of machines periodically to guarantee its smooth running.
• 9. Adhering to all safety and health regulations.
• 10. Collaborating with finance and accounting teams to optimize machine output and streamline processes.

Qualifications:

• 1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Operator or similar role.
• 2. Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.
• 3. Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
• 4. Computer savvy with a detailed understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
• 5. Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
• 6. A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
• 7. Excellent comprehension of the principles of finance and accounting and their application in a manufacturing setting.
• 8. Good communication abilities, with the ability to work well in a team.
• 9. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality output.
• 10. Completion of a vocational training or apprenticeship in machining would be advantageous.
