Description:

Press Brake Operator Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator to set up and operate hydraulic press brake equipment to form metal parts according to customer orders, specifications, and production schedules.

• Set up and operate hydraulic press brake equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and angles.
• Calculate bend locations, tonnage, and appropriate tooling.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Identify missing or incorrect parts and notify management.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Properly stack and handle completed parts to prevent damage and unnecessary handling.
• Keep production schedules and order status up to date.
• Identify equipment issues or out-of-tolerance conditions and report problems to management.
• Follow all company safety procedures and requirements.

• Previous press brake experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings, and measurements.
• Basic math skills, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and management direction.

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required.
• Ability to visually inspect parts and measurements.
