  • Comfortable working in a lab/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and wear required PPE.
  • Able to follow quality procedures in an ISO-regulated environment.

The role is primarily based in a quality assurance laboratory that is connected to the manufacturing area, offering both lab work and some exposure to production operations. The lab operates under ISO 9001 standards and supports GMP and regulated healthcare markets, including medical device, pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and life sciences industries. The environment is fragrance-free, and phones are not allowed in the lab to maintain cleanliness, focus, and compliance.

Technicians frequently go onto the manufacturing floor to collect samples, often at least every few minutes, and then remain with each sample from start to finish through testing and documentation. The work involves walking and standing for most of the day. Personal protective equipment is required, including steel-toed shoes that employees purchase, with a reimbursement program available upon conversion. The team culture is friendly and collaborative, and the organization invests in employees, promotes from within, and provides opportunities to grow into different departments and leadership positions as the business continues to expand globally.
