Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Cashier, Stocking
Position Summary
Provide member service, maintain checkout and entrance/exit areas, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, ensure safety and security protocols, train associates, promote products, support members with self‑service technology, manage documentation, execute emergency procedures, and encourage continuous learning and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide member service, resolve member issues, and promote Sam's Club products and services.
- Maintain checkout, entrance, and exit areas, verify membership cards, arrange and organize merchandise.
- Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges as per company policies.
- Follow safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe situations.
- Assist with training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technology, and tool functionality.
- Maintain accurate paperwork, logs, and required documentation, execute emergency response procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company security and safety practices, observe and communicate potential criminal activity.
- Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and customers to prioritize tasks, recommend improvements, and adapt to change.
Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) and working with mobile retail applications.

CompensationThe hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
