With an experienced, customer‑focused sales and service team, we confidently serve the electrical utility, transmission, distribution, telecommunications, and industrial markets. Tallman Equipment is staffed with expert tool specialists who advise customers on nearly any product or tool need, including stringing, lifting/rigging, fiberglass, rubber goods/cover‑up, and grounding.

• Has a passion for sales in the electrical transmission & distribution markets
• Differentiates Tallman Equipment products and services from competition utilizing product and non-product factors
• Has a strong commitment to providing customer service within a team environment
• Overcome the objections of prospective customers
• Manage key accounts through prompt customer service
• Pro‑active with consistent follow ups on quotes and leads
• Updates knowledge through researching products and participating in educational opportunities
• Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features

• Strong communications skills, both written and oral
• Self‑motivated and self‑directed
• Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Well organized relative to tasks and account management
• Ability to work the necessary hours to effectively execute job responsibilities
• Use technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales
• Proficient in computer‑related skills

• No prior sales experience required
• PC Skills using spreadsheets, word processing, and other office management applications preferred
• Ability to work with customer relationship management (CRM) software
