Overview

The Cary Company is a leading provider of packaging and industrial supplies. We are seeking energetic and motivated individuals to join our Inside Sales Team as Account Managers. This role focuses on managing customer relationships and expanding our market presence.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $45,000-$60,000 annually + Incentives & Benefits. Eligible after 90 days to participate in our commission program (paid once a year). A monthly incentive is available for high performers in the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement:
    Respond to customer inquiries with speed and professionalism, provide detailed product information and pricing, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Sales Growth:
    Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities during customer interactions and actively work to grow your book of business
  • Account Management:
    Develop strong relationships with key accounts, manage larger quotes, and ensure customer needs are met and expectations exceeded
  • Collaboration:

    Work with other departments (customer service, logistics, accounting, marketing, warehousing) to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • CRM Proficiency:
    Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions and progress in our CRM system
  • Performance Metrics:
    Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs through strategic sales initiatives and account management
  • No Cold Calling:
    Focus on warm leads with a high potential for conversion
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
  • Experience:

    Prior customer service or sales experience advantageous
  • Skills:

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Understanding of packaging materials and industry-specific products is beneficial but not required
